Orin Percus is professor of linguistics at the University of Nantes and member of the Laboratoire de Linguistique de Nantes (UMR 6310). He was previously employed at the Università ‘Vita-Salute’ San Raffaele, Milan. His research has touched on a variety of topics in semantics; he is probably best known for his work on the compositional semantics of constructions associated with intensionality. He co-founded and, for many years, co-directed the electronic journal Snippets, dedicated to technical notes in syntax and semantics; he is currently a Series Editor of the book series Studies in Linguistics and Philosophy.
