Ricardo Etxepare is directeur de recherche at CNRS (lab. IKER). He specializes in Basque and Romance syntax. He was the PI of the ANR project “Basque in the Making. A Historical Look at a Linguistic isolate”. He has published extensively on nonfinite complementation, comparative linguistics and suggested already in earlier work a tripartite theory of complementation which is compatible with the hypothesis under consideration in IMMAGES.
